The Dissension Makers

 And, boy, is that a monumental task. Quiet, and turning inward is essential first step. 

What they're *really* angry about is feeling that they don't matter anymore. That their voices, their concern, their values, their livelihoods, and their very lives and existence don't matter or count. Like their being run roughshod over. They feel at risk of becoming the new century's underclass, the n******, and they don't like it.  Can they really know what they're really angry about if what they think and say they're angry about isn't even real?  What's going on is that they have to try and make their fight sound like it's about something noble, like patriotism, the fight for freedom, liberty, or the vulnerable. Because what it's really about they're ashamed to say out loud because it makes them seem weak and pathetic. They're saying, "See me. Acknowledge me and my right to exist and have a say."  We can't hate, diminish, or characterize a person simply because of the state they were born into. Color of their skin. Not unless they are both consciously aware of an advantage and exploiting it.  We as black people don't want this done to us, so we must not do it to others. As MLK Jr. said, judge each *individual* by the content of their character, not by the color of their skin, the actions or attitudes of their forebearers, their families, their neighbors, or those who look like them. And remember those who are lashing out the most are those who are most insecure and frightened, which means they're the ones most in need of being met with love rather than a mirroring or return of their hate. Hard to do, but necessary and proven to work. Love wins. Oppressors succeed for a time through sheer might, but when their motives are impure they have no path to ultimate victory.

 Always. Anger, wrath, enmity, violence, a retaliatory spirit, war... stems from fear of not having enough or not being enough.

 Be intentional about looking for things to read, watch, and listen to that uplift you, make you feel gratitude, grow you in positive ways, foster love for your fellow man and woman, and bring you a sense of peace.

 To be contrary, to stir up controversy and emotions, to get in other people's business, to say things daily even though there are surely occasions, days and times when nothing needs to be said at all. No one really needs these people's opinions. Certainly there are people who think they're offering up wisdom that's not commonly shared or agreed upon.  When we give in to those who Foster detention and allow ourselves to be divided we lose every single time. What happened to them shows like the view is that the girls sit around cackling and laughing at other people like mean girls. And on shoes like SNL what wines have happening is certain viewers tune out leaving just those who feel the same way and they sit around and laugh at other people like an echo chamber that's damaging. Some people will contend that satire or mocking people will make the offending people change, but we know that's not true so that's disingenuous what actually happens is people become embittered enraged and they retaliate and we know that.

 Those you are in the business of satire and who profit from it have no material that's not at the expense of someone else's soul and inner peace. Mockery is the intentional infliction of psychic pain to paint oneself. It is truly nothing more or less than that.
